Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Sherry L. Lupton, M.Div. Covenant Pastor
Rev. Sherry L. Lupton has devoted her life to serving others through compassionate leadership, faithful ministry, and the transformative message of Jesus Christ.
A graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, Rev. Lupton served Lancaster County for 28 years in the juvenile justice system before retiring in 2018. Throughout her career, she championed restorative justice initiatives and worked to create opportunities for young people and families throughout her community.
Following God's call into ministry, Rev. Lupton earned a Master of Divinity from United Lutheran Seminary with a concentration in the Black Church. She has also completed Clinical Pastoral Education through Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, equipping her to provide compassionate spiritual care in times of both celebration and hardship.
Her ministry is marked by a passion for preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and helping people grow in their relationship with Christ. Prior to joining Shiloh Presbyterian Church, she faithfully served in a variety of ministry leadership roles, including directing grief support and leadership development ministries.
In 2024, Rev. Lupton began serving as Pulpit Supply at Shiloh Presbyterian Church and was joyfully installed as Covenant Pastor on June 8, 2025. Today, she is honored to lead the congregation as they continue growing in faith, serving with love, and sharing the hope of Christ.
Outside of ministry, Rev. Lupton enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, traveling, and encouraging others through her media ministry, Reset with Rev. Sherry, which exists to encourage, empower, and inspire people to embrace the transforming power of Christ.
